I’m a husband, father, artist, pastor and entrepreneur. After serving in youth ministry for over 15 years, I have recently started my own business, Illustrated Children’s Ministry.
I grew up in Washington state and have lived all over the country (Idaho, New Jersey, Georgia, California, Oregon and Illinois). I attended Whitworth University, where I received my BA in Religion. I attended Princeton Theological Seminary, and during seminary I met my wife Sarah (who attended Columbia Theological Seminary), did campus ministry at Princeton University, served as a Chaplain for one summer, and spent the summer of 2005 in the Middle East, courtesy of a grant from the Forum for Theological Education.
After seminary, I served as a Minister for Youth & Young Adults at a United Methodist Church in Livermore, CA (2008-2011), Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Ashland, Oregon (2011-2013) and Designated Associate Pastor at Winnetka Presbyterian Church in Winnetka, IL (2013-2015). My wife is currently the Acting Associate Pastor at the Winnetka Congregational Church, and I am loving running my own successful business.
