When I was a kid, I drew all the time. I took calligraphy classes with my mom. I even did some cross stitching. I loved drawing.
But by high school, my interest moved to the computer and to web design. As I got more and more into computers, web design, digital graphic design, blogging and then social media…I moved further and further away from real paper and pens.
However, in the past few years, I’ve gotten back into drawing, sketching and taking visual notes, which has been a real joy. I’ve posted some of my work here on this site, and you can view my sketchnotes and my drawing and watercolors.
In 2015, I launched Illustrated Children’s Ministry. We provide illustrated faith resources for the church and the home – encouraging creativity and faith exploration. If you want to check us out, you can find us here.
