I’m a husband, father, pastor and artist. I am also an INFP and an Enneagram 4, if that’s helpful. I have recently finished my second ordained call, and am looking for what is next. You can download my PIF or resume here.
I grew up in Washington state and have lived all over the country (Idaho, New Jersey, Georgia, California, Oregon and Illinois). I attended Whitworth University, where I received my BA in Religion. During college, I spent my summers working at Presbyterian church camps, and spent my first two years out of college serving as a youth director in a small Presbyterian church in rural, Idaho.
I attended Princeton Theological Seminary, and during seminary I met my wife Sarah (who attended Columbia Theological Seminary), did campus ministry at Princeton University, served as a Chaplain for one summer, and spent the summer of 2005 in the Middle East, courtesy of a grant from the Forum for Theological Education.
After seminary, I served as a Minister for Youth & Young Adults at a United Methodist Church in Livermore, CA (2008-2011), served as the Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Ashland, Oregon (2011-2013) and served as the Designated Associate Pastor at Winnetka Presbyterian Church in Winnetka, IL (2013-2015).
My wife is currently the Acting Associate Pastor at the Winnetka Congregational Church, and I am looking for where God is calling me next.
